We have created a t-shirt to ensure the remembrance of this great young man, son, brother, friend and Marine. Help us support his legacy by wearing this t-shirt commemorating the life of a true American patriot. Keep this t-shirt as a memento and a keepsake of a fallen hero.
The t-shirt is grey, with the Marine Corps emblem on the front left chest and a custom commemorative design on the back, representing the 'Gold Star.' 
History of the Gold Star banner:
The blue and gold star banner tradition began in World War I when white service flags bordered in red were displayed from homes, businesses, schools and churches to indicate, by the use of a blue star, each active service member in the U.S. Military. A gold star represented those who had given their lives for their country.
Below the logo on the back of the shirt is a quote from General George S. Patton, Jr. –
“Let me not mourn for men who have died fighting but rather let me be glad that such heroes have lived.”
Each shirt is $20.00 and proceeds from the sale of the shirts will be donated to the JP Blecksmith Memorial Scholarship Fund at his high school alma mater, Flintridge Preparatory School in La Canada, California.
